Alvin Kamara: DNP due to rest, back

RotoWire relays that Kamara projects as the Saints' lead back while Travis Etienne (hamstring) sits on injured reserve, beginning with Monday's game against Atlanta. Etienne had been the preferred option before the injury.

Kamara (rest/back) didn't practice Wednesday. Visit RotoWire.com for more analysis on this update.

Kamara has 5.1 and 7.2 FFPC points in his last two weeks, and the backfield he is inheriting produced 9.0 points for Etienne in Week 3. A bigger slice of that is still a small number. The 47.5 total and a 2.5-point home line are fine, and he is rostered in 98.1% of leagues, so this is a flex-or-bench call, not a windfall. Start him only if your RB3 spot is genuinely barren. Everyone else leaves him where he is.
