A trade request is a press release, not a transaction, so treat this as speculative until a team actually sends something back. Downs has put up 8.7 and 3.8 FFPC points the last two weeks, and this week he is attached to a Colts offense that Vegas has as 9.5-point underdogs in a 46.5-point total. That is a WR126 profile with a sharp rank to match, and the only thing a request changes is the ceiling on a landing spot you cannot name yet. Bench him and wait for a destination. If he is already on your bench, nothing happened.

Speculative — this reads ahead of what the source reported.
