Jonathan Taylor trade rumors: Colts not actively shopping around star running back before deadline
Colts aren't shopping Taylor, but CBS Sports' Aditi Kinkhabwala reports ownership gave him no assurance a trade won't happen before the deadline.
However, in a meeting with ownership, Taylor was not given any assurances that a deal would not happen, according to CBS Sports' Aditi Kinkhabwala
Sharp take
Sharp SixStartRight · +1.7 over the lineNo assurances is not a denial, it's a non-answer with a microphone. Taylor is rostered everywhere and scoring like it, 19 and 22.1 the last two weeks, so you aren't cutting him over a rumor with no landing spot attached. If a trade actually lands him somewhere with a worse offensive line or a committee, that's a problem for next week, not tonight. Start him, ignore the noise until there's an actual team name attached.
