Bears OT Braxton Jones to miss rest of season after knee surgery
ProFootballTalk reports Bears left tackle Braxton Jones will miss the rest of the season after knee surgery. Chicago loses a starting offensive tackle for the duration.
The Bears will not get offensive tackle Braxton Jones back in the lineup this season.
Sharp take
Sharp SixNo actionAn offensive lineman going on IR is not a fantasy event, and no player in your lineup decisions is named Braxton Jones. The only skill-position name in front of you plays for Minnesota and put up 6.0 and 3.6 FFPC points the last two weeks, which is a problem that has nothing to do with Chicago's tackle situation. If you own Bears pass catchers, the line is marginally worse and the conclusion is unchanged. Do nothing.
