A Wednesday DNP is a data point, not a verdict. Montgomery is rostered everywhere and sits as a clear starter on a favored team, so there's nothing actionable yet off one practice report. Check Friday's designation before you touch your lineup. Panic-dropping him now is how you hand someone else a top-32 back for free.

Speculative — this reads ahead of what the source reported.
