Jets' Garrett Wilson enters concussion protocol a week before 2026 NFL trade deadline
CBS Sports reports Garrett Wilson has entered the concussion protocol a week ahead of the trade deadline, with questions about whether it affects his value as trade bait. He is listed questionable for the Jets' road game at Kansas City.
Could Wilson's status as potential trade bait be impacted by entering the concussion protocol?
Sharp take
Sharp SixBenchConcussion protocol is binary, so treat him as out until he clears and plan a replacement now. Even at full health the matchup is ugly: the Jets are 9.5-point underdogs in a 47.5-point total, and he has put up 14.3 and 4.6 FFPC points the last two weeks. He is rostered in 100% of the field and carries 54 points of value over replacement, so dropping him is not a conversation. Start whoever on your bench is playing this week and revisit Thursday.
